Collision mitigation braking systems use radar technology to help prevent a potential collision with the vehicle ahead. In addition to applying brakes in response to the driver's action, this system will also automatically apply additional braking when it senses that a collision with the vehicle ahead is unavoidable. The system uses radar sensors located in the grille behind the Ram's front cross-hair emblem to constantly look at approaching traffic up to 800 feet ahead.
Adaptive cruise control with stop and go allows you to set your cruising speed using either buttons or the adaptive cruise control stalk on the left side of the steering wheel.
